Similarly different to getting in shape, setting a number of sets and movement limits, using creative constraints, like “make a meal that is only blue” or “give me three project ideas that are too big for you”, can spark creativity and productivity.

Beinghood

The felt moral kinship one has with every being, simply in virtue of that shared fact of experience. Like brotherhood but for everyone.

The forest is silent

The silent forest refers to the colorless, soundless, shapeless world we live in. This world is described in human language using words that denote experiences, when in reality, matter is never red or green, and the forest never makes a sound.
Watch this to understand why a tree makes no sound when it falls in a forest, whether someone is there or not.

Simulate

Deliberately or unintentionally try to mimic different aspects, or even the whole, of others’ experiences, with varying intensity, as we guesstimate them.

Primate Monkey Genocide

More than 300 million monkeys were killed during the nineties due to deforestation. This number is only for primate monkeys, only during the 90's, and only from deforestation. This gives us some order of magnitude of how huge the monkey genocide is.

Animality

All the earthly biological individual beings collectively.
Humanity is the total population of human animals, Animality is the total population of animals.

Weapons of Mass Destruction

A device or technique that is intended to harm a large number of animals (human or non-human) or cause massive damage to natural or artificial structures (e.g., habitats), or the biosphere. Weapons of mass destruction can be:

  • Biological – a direct extermination of animals such as gill nets (a wall of netting that kills fish that are caught in it with their gills).
  • Ecological – extermination of the habitats of animals such as with burning rainforests with all its sentients, probably causing death to those who managed to escape.
  • Chemical – molecular or atomic change in the environment, which usually appears as mild or unseen by the naked eye, but actually causing extensive suffering and death, such as with climate change or water pollution.

Wild Animal Genocide (Animalcide)

The Massacre of Biological Nations by the Human Animal.
The word “genocide” is comprised of the Greek word for race, or type (genos), and the Latin word for killing (cide).

Wild Animal Genocide is the systematic killing of wildlife in such large numbers that they cannot be accurately measured. How many did we kill? No one knows, but humankind has likely killed most sentient beings on planet Earth during the last 55 years. The number of fish that humans pull from the oceans every year is probably more than a trillion–that is, 1,000 billion sentient individuals.

Animal Storytelling

An outreach technique where industries harming animals are discussed on a personal level by sharing the tale of a specific, named animal. These large-scale tragedies now have faces and names associated with them. This technique is a part of the animal rights movement’s global effort to establish animal personhood, and is promoting a more nuanced understanding of animals’ lives and character traits. Ideally, the storyteller has a personal connection to this animal and can describe his/her unique traits, hardships, preferences, and so forth.

Animal Personhood

the legal and philosophical movement to recognize animals as individuals with inherent rights, rather than property. Grounded in sentience (the ability to feel pain, joy, and fear), this shift challenges human-centric laws, aiming to protect animals from exploitation, abuse, and slaughter.

Imagined Group

The world is comprised of individual experiences. Any group, even if it consists of real experiencers, is imaginary because the line that defines who is inside the group and who is outside the group is only in our imagination. The real world works at the individual level, not the group level. Reality works at the individual level, all the rest are nice and useful thought experiments.
So there is no such thing as humanity or dolphinity or animality or AIs or the group of humans wearing purple hats.

AnEkho

Ekho's evil twin, AnEkho, is actually not "evil" in the regular sense of the word, he is just completely indifferent to others. He doesn't want to harm beings, he merely thinks about doing good, as he understands it, only for himself.

Global Majority

The global majority is the most prevalent group of beings, on planet Earth and beyond, as far as we know.

Belieflessness

The state in which one bases his understanding of reality on reason and experience, and not on belief.

Sentientity
